My brother bought a used x and it's been awesome, it made a huge believer out of me. So many up sides, they don't do everything but what they do do, is often 100% better than normal vehicles. There was a ton of hype to badmouth Tesla put out by the automotive industry early on, but you have to talk to people who own them.
I own 3 electric cars. All Tesla because of the charging network it has. Each have their own personality and each drives a bit different but they all have full self driving which drives better than I can.

No my X is a 5 seater so the seats fold down. Plaid the seats don't fold down. My Cybertruck is though. They call it the beast and it's just a bit slower than the X but still goes 0-60 in 2.6 seconds so it has launch mode so you better hold on. I believe the X comes in at 2.4

No way in the world would I rent my Cyberbeast out. But I have 12 homes in the San Francisco bay area I rent out and there cash cows. All bought in the 80's and early 90's. Never had problems with our Tesla's but heard some bad stuff with others.

Soda I was gonna ask if you had solar panels on the house. Figured you did with 3 electric cars. Did you get batteries for your home and get off the grid?

32 panels. Didn't get the battery pack. Last year my power bill was $120.00 for the year.

I’ve held off on batteries too. My bill with 18 panels is $28 a month which is the service charge from SMUD

My water bill up by lake arrowhead was $60/month just for the connection charge.
